Founder Ari definitely belongs to this special breed. Growing up in Berlin as the daughter of a Polish mom and an Iranian dad, she was surrounded by different flavors, dishes and culinary traditions from an early age.

Ari discovered her passion for baking as a teenager and experimented with almost everything sweet, creative and seriously delicious. Her friends and family were always more than happy to be her taste testers.


When Ari became a mom, children’s birthdays brought celebration cakes and the desire to create something that not only tasted incredible but also looked unforgettable. That is how her first buttercream cakes were born – followed by chunky New York Cookies, fudgy Brownies and many more sweet creations.

Curiosity turned into countless baking experiments, carefully refined recipes and a constant flow of new ideas. The enthusiastic response from family and friends eventually inspired Ari to create ARI’S Bakehouse.

Today, ARI’S Bakehouse combines exceptional flavor with bold colors, playful designs + Ari’s lifelong love of fashion. That is why many of our creations are named after legendary fashion designers.

Every product is created in our Bern bakery and carries a little of Ari’s personality: creative, detail-obsessed, unapologetically extra + seriously delicious. 🍪❤️🎂
